Repairs & Jewelry Care

Holiday Repairs & Returns
Our return window is extended for the season—purchases made from November 20th through December 24th are eligible for return through January 15th.
For repairs and returns, please ensure all packages arrive at our office before December 22. We will do our best to complete and ship back all repairs before our holiday break, but cannot guarantee delivery before then.
Our offices will be closed from December 25 through January 5 for Christmas & New Year.
Thank you for your patience during this busy time.
Repairs
Our Repairs Processing Center only accepts repairs for items purchased on SydneyEvan.com. If you purchased your item from one of our retail partners, please return it through the original point of purchase—our online repair center cannot process these repairs.
At Sydney Evan, quality and craftsmanship are our top priorities. However, jewelry is naturally delicate and may require repairs over time. If you need a repair, please email love@sydneyevan.com with the following details:
- Name
- Address
- Order Number
- Description of the repair issue
- Photo of the damaged piece
You will receive a Repair Authorization Number, which must be clearly labeled on your package.

Repair Policy:
- Manufacturer Defects: Repairs due to manufacturing defects are free of charge within 120 days of purchase.
- Other Repairs: Repairs after 120 days, or those caused by misuse, will incur a repair fee at the customer's expense. Each repair request will be assessed individually.
- Final Sale Notice: We do not accept returns on worn jewelry.

Jewelry Care Instructions

Beaded Bracelets
Our beaded bracelets are made from the highest quality materials, often cut from natural sources. To preserve their beauty and durability:
- Avoid water: Do not wear while sleeping, showering, exercising, or in a pool/sauna, as exposure can weaken the elastic cord.
- Minimize exposure: Hairsprays, lotions, colognes, and perfumes can alter the natural state of the beads.
- Proper handling: Always roll the bracelet on and off your wrist—do not pull, stretch, or tug, as this can weaken the elastic over time.
- Cleaning: Use mineral oil on a soft, white cloth to clean the beads and maintain their luster.

Chains (Cable & Ball Chains)
Fine chains are delicate and should be handled with care:
- Avoid pulling or tugging to prevent breakage.
- Store separately to avoid tangling.

14K Gold Jewelry
To keep your 14k gold jewelry looking its best:
- Avoid direct contact with hairsprays, lotions, colognes, and perfumes, as these can cause tarnishing.
- Professional cleaning is recommended—home cleaning methods may cause damage.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure your Sydney Evan jewelry remains beautiful for years to come.
